"NEW" – with improved material properties
The CARL REINER tracheal cannula is a quality product manufactured by hand from grade 1.4301 stainless steel. Depending on the medical indication, full cannulas, perforated cannulas or cannulas with a speech valve may be prescribed for patients. In specific cases, the production of a split or holed cannula may be the optimal solution for the patient. The shield may need to be modified for anatomical reasons. Of course we can also produce cannulas based on specific patterns, such as those that can be adapted to existing fixation bands.
In the large majority of cases, the standard sizes of the Vienna model listed in the following table are adequate. Special lengths are available on request. This nomenclature differs from the sizes mentioned by other manufacturers: a size 6 cannula, for instance, may have an external diameter of 8 1/3 mm or even 10 mm. In principle, the CARL REINER tracheal cannula is only manufactured from a cylindrical tube.
